Hey everyone,
Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Turkey time is one of my favorite holidays of the year, and after several years of not making food nor heading home because of school, it was nice to have a chance to celebrate a bit this year. While I didn’t get to head home, I did get the chance to relax, and finally made my first turkey!
I’ve still got a long way to go to create the ultimate party fowl, but at least I was able to produce more than just a…poultry attempt.
Sorry, those were terrible. I just couldn’t resist. Because right after Thanksgiving I went straight into edit mode. And while I’ve put in a ton of hours, and I’ve made a lot of progress, this bird still isn’t cooked. It’s close. Right now, I’m carving things up as quickly as I can. I’m on a mission to finish before the end of the year, and I’m tantalizingly close. To make it, however, I need to keep my schedule stuffed.
I’ll stop now. But I do want to say, honestly, that I thank you for your patience all this time. Thanks for your support. I had a chance to reflect on this journey over the Thanksgiving holiday. It has meant a lot to me.
And I’ve been putting in extra hours because I want to reward you for all the years you’ve been waiting. Just a little longer. And maybe, just maybe, we can bring in the New Year with a new book.
See you soon!
Jon
