Hey folks,
As promised, it’s time for a major update! As of last week, I officially shipped off the major edits for Book II back to Vulpine. I put a lot of heart and soul into them, and there are some significant changes, so I’m excited to get them into your hands. Personally, my favorite changes have been the ones I believe will bring the characters more to life than ever before.
This marks a major milestone for Book II, as I expect that it is nearly ready for release, and that we might even be able to get the book out just in time for Christmas.
But even though I crossed the finish line of this particular editing marathon, there’s still a few more things to do before it’s all said and done. I’m now waiting for feedback from my editor about her opinions on the changes, which should be a few weeks (mid-October I expect) and barring any major issues, will have a week or two of minor fixes, I imagine. So we’re looking at maybe, just maybe having everything ready for print in early-mid November. Hopefully! I’ll keep you posted…
This announcement also means that we’ve passed the halfway point for the series, and it will be a great time to jump in, or to get others who you think might be future fans, engaged as well. I’m really proud of how much better the characters and world have been fleshed out in Book II, and will love to see and hear your reactions to it. Your support and willingness to share with others means a huge amount to me.
